How did you become a NEWS fan?

Hello everyone! I don't know if this has been done here before, but I thought it would be fun if each of us shares our stories with NEWS. How did you first hear of them, how did you become a fan, or what was your first song?

Let's see... my first NEWS song was Sayaendou. I downloaded the 2006 Oricon Top 100 from jpopsuki in January 2007. I liked it, but it always takes me a looong time to start exploring a fandom, so I didn't pay too much attention.

2008 rolled around, I got the 2007 Oricon Top 100. weeeek comes on and blows me away, I look at my iTunes and find out I have two other songs by these "NewS" people already (Sayaendou and Hadashi no Cinderella Boy), so I look them up. This was back in the day of that huge jpop/jrock act wiki-like website I can't remember the name of now, that died all of a sudden... anyway, I look up the members, find out the history, and get Yamapi-baited into the fandom. Found out he was in dramas, had solo work, etc, and start devouring everything I can find.

I'd never seen anything like NEWS, and then I found out there was a whole COMPANY of these bands, but I never fell for anyone like I did for NEWS. I also thought Yamapi was sooo interesting and adorable, until I discovered Shige. >.>

Never going back! NEWS always and forever~. ♥
