So the gossip magazine about Pi and Jin living together-- I saw it at the supermarket, but it was a bit pricey ($7). So I told [livejournal.com profile] sazabe about it, and she googled it and found a type up of the article in japanese.

[livejournal.com profile] sazabe gave a rough translation summary of it for me-- basically it says that people have seen them exit from the same building. It's some nice place that's 40 floors high. Yamapi leaves early. Jin leaves later on in his car and they're always going out with sunglasses, hats covering their eyes, etc. And supposedly, they are living in a place where the rent is between 200,000 - 500,000 yen.

Anyone want to take a stab at a more detailed translation?

Oh wow. How interesting!! This is exciting stuff, even though it might not be true. When Yamapi moved out of the house, I was somewhat surprised and sad. But now that Jin might be living with him, entirely different story. XD

And the article says just about that. Hehe.

i don't think this one's true * so many rumors like this have happened in the past*. rofl~ it's funny though XDDDD
Saturday, October 13th, 2007 08:15 am (UTC)
Well perhaps they live in the same building. It wouldn't be surprising, I mean, they are best friend...

hahaha, i love you ann ♥ ♥ ♥

Omoshirosou,I wouldn't mind this rumour if its true. They are best friend anyway, and it's always fun flatting with yr mates

Hahahah, I saw an article for this in a weekly Japanese magazine 2 weeks back too. They're supposedly living in a really expensive unit in a high rise apartment block, and the supposed reasons for them moving out is because they are used to staying with each other and stuff. I think there was a mention of Katou Rosa somewhere in there too - about how she and Jin have been spotted together. Idk. I think I'll translate it when I get home or something if I can find the article.

I'll gladly translate it! :) I just posted about this the other day in my journal, so I'd be glad to add a translation.

"We're at a part of town with prominent office buildings. Wherever you go, the transport connections are superb! In this first class residential area, near a certain appartment, there's a bit of a commotion. Which is inevitable, since two big Johnny's stars, NEWS' Yamashita Tomohisa and KAT-TUN's Akanishi Jin, are living together under one roof?

"I saw Akanishi-kun return home in August during 24 hours TV. I think he mostly takes the subway, but he sometimes drives an expensive car too." (Someone who lives in the same appartment house)

"Akanishi-kun has been coming and going ever since his return, but Yamashita-kun has lived here already before. I often notice the Jimusho's van parking here, picking him up for work. Probably as a precaution he wears sunglasses and has his hat drawn deep over his face." (Someone else who lives in the same appartment house)

The house is approximately 40 stories high, so that your neck starts hurting when you look up to it.

"It's a new building that opened for rent only at the end of last year. The rent is just shy of 200 000 yen for the cheapest room. The first class 3 room / bath / kitchen appartments cost easily over 500 000 yen in rent. There are still rooms for sale, so you can call this a luxury appartment house." (Someone from the real estate agency)

Sounds like Roppongi, ne?
Saturday, October 13th, 2007 11:38 am (UTC)
It does! And it would fit the reports / gossip that Pi, Jin and Ryô mostly hang around Roppongi clubs and bars. Not far to stumble home or for others to crash at their place after a long night of partying, is it? :)
Saturday, October 13th, 2007 11:47 am (UTC)
Heh, nice.

Oh man, Roppongi is so sketch. Like, it can be really fun, but also really... erm.

I could fit right in, though. So many foreigners in that area. XD

Methinks I know what I'M doing tomorrow night. XD
Saturday, October 13th, 2007 01:25 pm (UTC)
LOL, have fun (and good luck!). I didn't like Roppongi (or rather the atmosphere there) all that much when I was in Japan, but I'm not the party-going type anyway, so clubs and bars held no interest for me.
Saturday, October 13th, 2007 02:52 pm (UTC)
I'm not usually the party type, but since my city has ONE club (and the music there sucks), it's been a LOOOOONG time since I've gone dancing.

Yay! :)

Thanks for the translation! ♥

Akanishi-kun has been coming and going ever since his return, but Yamashita-kun has lived here already before.
So maybe Jin didn't bother to get a new place/go back to his old place when he returned and moved in with Pi?

Thanks for translating!

This is what I'd like to wake up to every morning. The tabloids have got to get it right once in a while. This must be it.

o.O But didn't both of them say that they were living together during that Heyx3 interview? It was awhile ago, but I haven't heard anything since about the arrangements having changed, so... x.x I don't know. XD I kind of always assumed they were rooming together after that.

During the Hey3 interview, they referred to the past, IIRC? There was a time when Pi had his "rebellious phase" (his words), during which he almost lived at Jin's parents' house. But to my knowledge, that wasn't longer than a couple of months, and it was before NEWS and KAT-TUN.
Saturday, October 13th, 2007 11:17 pm (UTC)
o.O Was it really? I don't understand Japanese, but according to the subs, it was just kind of weird. Pi claimed to be living with Jin, but apparently, no one had informed Jin of this fact. And all Jin said was that since they were so busy, he hadn't seen Pi for a really long time or something like that.

x.x

But I don't think it was before News and K-T, because when they showed Pi's clip, he had Kurosagi hair, I think. And Pi definitely said that they were living together.

LOL. Old news...Pi actually mentioned abt going shopping for furniture with Jin... and that Jin was very indecisive in choosing the sofa~

Pi and Jin together?!

Sugoi!!!!
Sunday, October 14th, 2007 01:54 pm (UTC)
Absolutely nothing to do with Jin & Pipi living together, but God, I wish rent for a prime location in London was that cheap! GAH! 200,000 yen is less than a grand! And 500,000 yen for a three bedroomed apartment in swank Tokyo?!

*cries*

We're having enough trouble finding a one-bedroomed flat just in central London, never mind any of the swankier areas for less than £1500 a month.

Anyways, if they are living together, sweet. I bet they're having a ball. Woot!

Thank you for the translation [livejournal.com profile] riccichan

Flat-hunting in London is a nightmare. I've never ever in my life found anything so stressful, and London estate agents are teh evil to end all evil. There are lots of studios/one-bedroom flats for around £1000 a month, but actually securing a flat at that price? *snorts*....one has more chance of orbiting the bloody moon, because everyone and their granny is vying for them! I actually don't know *anyone* in London who can afford to live on their own either - they all share, because rent is so high.
