I don't know about anyone else who makes ringtones, but when I use Audacity, the audio quality goes down a little bit, and that makes me sad. Luckily, a friend of mine found MP3 Trimmer (Macs only, sorry PC users), which keeps the audio in CD quality! However, it does mean the file sizes are bigger. I could only fit 20 of these ringtones into my Motorola Razr, but unless you're extremely popular and love giving individual ringtones to all your friends, I think that's plenty. ^_^
