The PR video for Koyama’s drama next season has been uploaded to the website. Filming also seems to have started, from the photo of what seems to be a photo of Koyama’s name pasted outside a dressing room, from the drama’s official twitter account. (Source)
On 3 Sep, additional cast members for “Juuyou Sankounin Tantei” was announced. Araki Yuko will be acting as the female police detective, who used to be Maneki Kei’s (Tamamori Yuta) girlfriend. Takito Kenichi will be acting as the boss of the model agency Kei is contracted to, a character who’s a little effeminate, and used to be a charismatic model himself. (Source)
It was announced that for the Music Station Ultra Live Festival, will be have a ‘Johnny’s VS live’ with groups doing various competition performances. NEWS will be a ‘pheromone competition’ VS Sexy Zone. (Source)
Fujii caster mentioned on 4 Sep’s episode of every. that Koyama is having his vacation this week. From how Koyama’s name still appeared on the programme, it seems the every. family misses him already. (Source 1 2)

It was Massu’s turn to update
He first talked about how the weather has been erratic, and his body condition feels a little strange. He told everybody to drink lots of water and to take it slow sometimes. For the theme, he chose “KAchusha” (hairband). When he reaches home, he puts his hair up with hair pins or the metal squiggly kind that he received from the make up artist.

He talked about 24hr TV, saying he’s happy that he got to participate again this year - his 3rd year in a row. Though he was asked to participate in the “hold-your-breathe” segment, Ohno-kun was too amazing, adding that to have been able to hold it for above 2 mins was supposed to have been quite a feat, but… He then joked saying that he showed his cool side in the MJ segment.
He continued to the 2nd day, when they got to sing U R not alone. He shared how when they sing this song, he usually sings it to support both the people listening and himself, but not this time. He hopes the viewers can receive the power of this song too. He also thanked Sho-kun and Kamenashi-kun for treating him nicely, and ended off the entry by wishing Jun-kun a happy birthday.

He said how he’s always been using this black hair dryer that he really liked, but it was spoilt and he got anxious as he didn’t have a spare, which means it’ll be a “wet Masuda” after going for his bath. He thought he had to go get one fast but they didn’t have his black one, so he bought a white one. Though he could have just bought any cheap one and wait till the black one was in stock, the white one dried his hair all nice and fluffy. He also talked about how he shared the episode with his hair stylist, and they discussed hair dryers. The stylist then presented him a black hair dryer during his next visit as his birthday present and now he has two. He’s really happy to have the black one, and will use it with care as it’s sad when home electronics die on you. At the end, he has a line saying he thought he had sent this entry out but it was just only saved. “Sor~ry!”
Rehearsals for The Green Mile seems to have started, from the post of one of the cast members’ (Kano Yukikazu) twitter accounts, saying they’ve started rehearsals, getting their measurements measured, costumes, hair and makeup checks and all. (Source)

Koyama was at Kame’s solo concert on 30 Aug. Kame: Koyama, this is what being an idol is like. K: I’ll try not to forget! Kame: You should let go of yourself more at NEWS’ concerts too! (Source)
Massu was at Kame’s solo concert on 31 Aug, where he was introduced as someone who entered the agency the same time as Kame. They even sang a short part of the chorus of “Miso Soup” (Source 1 2)
Tegoshi was spotted at the Saitama stadium on 31 Aug, watching the World Cup qualifying match between Japan and Australia (Source 1 2)
