Hello everyone,
I am currently doing an EPQ (Extended Qualification Project) for my college A-levels. To put it simply, its like a thesis/dissertation required of A2 students in UK. What I'm doing my project on is Japanese pop culture and my actual research question is: "To what extent has Japanese pop culture inlfluenced the international community?" This project requires a lot of references and evaluation therefore I planned to do a questionnaire asking the perfect sample of people which is you guys. I hope that you could help me with this project by answering the surveys below. It would be a great help!

I'm mostly just gonna ask about anime, mangas, japanese music and japanese fashion. There are 4 sections in the survey; "General Information" just asking about your gender, age and location, "Anime and Manga Section" asking just about when and why you like it, and the same goes for "Japanese Music Section". The "Japanese Fashion Section" one is a bit tricky since its kind of wide but what I had in mind was like cosplay, lolitas, ganguro, or just simply the cuteness factor of japanese fashion like acrylic nails, contact lenses, the way they apply make-up, japanese dresses, and even Super Dry.

Each section is a different survey so if you wish to not answer one of the three sections (but I do hope you answer the General Information Section because this is important in my research ^_^"), then it is really ok. :)

I really hope you guys can help me with this and it would be a very big help!!

Wow! You're from the UK too! And you're an A2 student as well.. Like me! Well, i hope my answers were helpful...
and also... hope you dont mind me asking but for what A Level do you need this? Why did my college not offer a course like this?!

Its an extra qualification in general rewarding us another AS. And you can do this EPQ based on any subject or enrichment you were doing (mine was based on personal interest and beginner's japanese enrichment) but have to make sure that your EPQ goes beyond the syllabus. Its not needed tbh but my college thought that it would be a good idea to have this EPQ for a better chance at university. But idk, try asking them? though I have to say..its still not as solid as getting good grades for the final grades...

Ahhh I see. Okay, well i've just left college and done my exams so there isn't really any point now. Unless ofcourse i flop my exams, dont get into Uni so end up doing a 3rd year... But i'm hoping it wont come to that... :S
