No Individual Uchiwa at Countdown?

Just noticed this posted at the official Johnnys site. Only 7 kinds of group uchiwa this year for Countdown.

No penlights or shopping bags either.

But there is a Pompon Ring - see behind cut.

So this will also make 2009 the year that Koyama and Shige don't have uchiwa. I was looking forward to them having a new one. They had at least 2 in the year the group was suspended.

Ryo is in Osaka with Kanjani. Their first concert started an hour ago - and Ryo definitely has an uchiwa for that.

much as I love kanjani8, my no.1 group is NEWS... that's why I'm really sad that kanjani8 reserved ryo all the time
so my friend and I wondered, what lately got into the marketing persons in Johnny's... did they got crap in your brain or what?

I've been thinking that there's actually been no one actually taking care of NEWS this year, that's why they seem to just be forgotten. Why weren't they at the Sports Day for example?

But there's an unfortunate trend for groups who have sub-unit activity - neither HSJ nor T&T had singles in 2009 - but they had sub-unit and solo releases. NEWS had both those too, but let's hope someone remembers to give something to the group as well. HSJ at least continues to have concerts.

But yeah, NEWS has really been Ryo's less than part-time job this year. I imagine he could count it in days rather than weeks.

i think so too, NEWS is breaking into subgroups and solo activities and Ryo is mainly with Kanjani8.
sigh...
but i've never seen a group uchiwa, so that's kinda cool

Wat wieso reserviert o.O
Wenn News nix rausbringen, dann macht er halt was anderes.
Anstatt was an Yamapis Single zu schaukeln hätten se auch noch was als Band veröffentlichen können.
Kanjani hat auf jeden Fall News Aktivitäten noch nie im Weg gestanden. Ich weiß zwar nicht ob du das so meinst, wie es sich ließt, aber ich weiß dass schon mindestens ein Kanjani fan den part hier gecuttet und verlinkt hat und meinte: "Was zur Hölle?"
Und mir gehts da nicht anders. xD
