No Individual Uchiwa at Countdown?

Just noticed this posted at the official Johnnys site. Only 7 kinds of group uchiwa this year for Countdown.

No penlights or shopping bags either.

But there is a Pompon Ring - see behind cut.

So this will also make 2009 the year that Koyama and Shige don't have uchiwa. I was looking forward to them having a new one. They had at least 2 in the year the group was suspended.

yes they will, but they're the only members not to already have their own from this year. Though I'd much rather we had a set of 6 from a proper NEWS concert. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what it looks like and whether or not it includes Ryo who won't be there either.

there were no keii-chan or shige uchiwas for the 2008/2009 countdown?? really?? why was that @_@? did others news members have their individual uchiwas?

no they had them last year - 2008/2009 - is 2008 and those uchiwa were prepared well before NYE - the same way there are already boxes waiting of this years uchiwa. I was referring to 2009, as in since January 1. The same way Countdown is tomorrow night, bidding farewell to 2009.

In fact, last year's Countdown uchiwa were done quite in advance because they talked about them at concert MCs well before the end of December.

And not forgetting that most of the NEWS members Countdown uchiwa were sold out by about 2pm on NYE too.

Kanjani have having their own "solo" Countdown in Osaka. I'm guessing that the broadcast version will have a cross to them at some point. But they're doing sort of what Kinki Kids did last year. So Ryo is there with them for the 4 concerts they're doing over the 3 days.
