About Ryo in Summary 2004?

Hi,first of all sorry if this is wrong to post like that, mods please delete it if it was not on the right place.

Since over a year or so I've been wondering why I couldn't see Ryo in Summary 2004, and then I decided that maybe he was with Kanjani so that's way Ryo was not there.... but couple of days ago..... the awesome newsfan had release subbed SC - summer special with KATTUN entitled History from 2004 and I got really confused.
1. the NEWS part - where they promoted SUMMARY, was with 6 men only (no Ryo and no Uchi) ... so that's understandable at that time they were with Kanjani8 ... right?
..but 2. there were also Baru,Yoko and Hina promoting Kanjani8 concert "Summer storm"....and they say :"Nishikido and Uchi have been in "SUMMARY" recently. They've been away."....
oooops.....
so where are Ryo and Uchi at that time?
I'm really confused and since Ryo is my ichiban favorite from NEWS I was really dying to see him in SUMMARY but I failed..... so please if all this still sound sane, and you know where is Ryo during summary, please answer. Thanks in advance

I don't know if Ryo and Uchi were with Kanjani at the time, but I always sort of figured they only had the six members of NEWS in Summary 2004 so that they could have the same number of members as KAT-TUN, since the numbers matching nattered for some of the stuff during the show.

Well, Ryo's definitely not in the recorded version of Summary. It was happening at the exact same time as Summer Storm (in different cities), so there's no way he and Uchi could do both. I vaguely remember something about Ryo (and maybe Uchi) only appearing in some performances of a butai because he was busy with other activities, but I think that was for Dreamboy(s). I haven't seen that SC episode so I can't say what was going on there, but as far as I know, Ryo and Uchi missed Summary 2004 for Kanjani8 activities.

hmmn the only explanation that i can think is that the DVD that was released (the DVD was filmed in Harajuku Big Top) doesnt have Ryo and Uchi mainly because they are busy with other activities like K8's Summer Storm or shows... coz Summary and Summer storm both started to ran August of 2004

so yeah... the time they filmed the DVD of Summary Ryo and Uchi were both busy with other activities.

and i hope am not wrong but i know that Ryo and Uchi participated in both Summer Storm and Summary but they were not present all the time since they have to give time on both NewS and K8's activity equally >__

About this...

I always thougth, that Ryo and Uchi weren't in SUMMARY to make NEWS have the same number of member as KATT-TUN. Because it was somehow NEWS vs KAT-TUN.
I thought that they might be working with Kanjani8.
Brsides, it was the time where NEWS was said to not always show as a 8 member group, so it was fine with just 6.

But I didn't know Kanjani said Ryo and Uchi are busy in SUMMARY....
