Note about NEWS Live Diamond DVD

After seeing that YesAsia majorly hiked up the price of the first press limited edition of NEWS Live Diamond DVD, I wanted to just point out something to NEWS fans interested in buying the DVD and currently deciding between the two editions. So my apologies for spamming your flist if you already knew this. ^^;;

Even though the first press limited edition is 3 DVDs, apart from the different packaging and different photobook, the actual DVD contents are EXACTLY THE SAME for both editions. In the first press limited edition, the concert is spread over two discs and uses Dolby Digital 5.1 Channel Surround (I hope I got that right), which I suppose is better sound quality and the same as what they used for the pacific concert tour DVD. Thus, the regular edition however doesn't use this and is able to fit the concert on 1 DVD. Both editions have all the extras - tour documentary, original music clip & making, and making of opening film. YesAsia was quite clear about this but I think CDJapan's product description was a bit misleading.

I'm absolutely not saying this to influence anyone into buying either editions, but hopefully to inform those who weren't aware, that the actual contents are the same. The first press limited edition is more expensive so I hope no one is misled into buying that one thinking it had more footage, when the main difference is the sound quality. :)
